Our Story.

My name is Thadeus Starsiak. I’m a Hoosier native who grew up on the Westside of Indy and now resides in the Old Southside of downtown Indy. I have deep passions for home renovation, dogs, helping my fellow human beings and self improvement.

At a young age, I experienced my fair share of suffering. From age 12-16 I bounced around homes, experienced the death of my mom and several other family members, divorce, drug addictions, etc… I became very lost during this time, feeling as far away from the light as I could ever be.

When I was 14 I attended a retreat in Colorado run by Bramacharinis, Hindu monks and nuns, that changed my life forevermore. Strangers who I had known for a week gave me the space and love to heal the deepest pains I’ve experienced.

Since that retreat I’ve made it a daily practice to meditate on Love. What is Love? How does Love act? What does Love feel like? I’ve meditated these questions so I can be the example of Love to others that I needed when I was a kid.

Thus Love Heals was birthed. Love Heals is a brand focused on introspection and growth. It’s about looking into ourselves and asking “What could Love heal in my life? How can understanding Love help me and others?” It’s about bringing awareness to something we all can support- Loving ourselves and others more fully to help us heal our past traumas.

Well what is Love? I can’t quite say, but I can tell you what I’ve learned. Love needs no adjectives. To put anything in front of Love like unconditional, true, undying, real is to be redundant because the word Love inherently has all of those things in it. Love is always free and everyone can have more of it. The feeling of Love when practiced strongly literally heals parts of our aching hearts and minds and can help others do the same. It is a tangible thing and not abstract. You can feel it in a hug, you can see it in another’s eyes, and hear it in the silence or with words. Love creates a deeper space for us all to relax into and continue developing ourselves without fear of judgement or reproach.

If we each did that soul work and strove for that, the world would transform and contain millions of more smiles, our shoulders would loosen from solving the traumas we have carried for so long, we’d stand taller ready to step into vulnerability, one of the scariest places to go mentally. We would grow more authentic and continue to unfold into the best versions of ourselves, unlocking our unique expressions further so that the world will get to experience the fullness of me. The fullness of You. You’re so important. I love you
